Organization

Created in 2004 by semiconductor industry executives and experts, Altatech is a limited company with a supervisory board and a management board.

Executive team

Jean Luc DELCARRI, founded Altatech in 2004 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Management Board. Jean Luc is in charge of all strategic aspects of the company as well as the sales deployment.

Jean Luc began his career in the semiconductor industry in 1981 at Thomson before moving to Nextral and Electrotech. In 1988 he joined Applied Materials, where he held several management positions in service, sales and strategic account management such as ST Microelectronics worldwide account.

Jean Luc studied electronics in Paris and holds a BS in Electronics.


Gilles du SORDET, co-founder, joined Altatech in 2004, as VP Finance. Gilles is responsible for the administrative, finance and human resources activities of the company.

Gilles started his career at Schneider Electric in finance in France and abroad. He joined MGE UPS Systems Co. in 1996 and was the CFO of the European division in 1999. In 2001, he was appointed as CFO of Teem Photonics.

Gilles graduated from ESCE business School in Paris and holds an EMBA from CPA- HEC (2000).


Philippe GASTALDO (PhD) joined Altatech in 2006 as Programme Manager. Since 2009, he has held the position of Director of the NanoVision product line. He is responsible for the R&D as well as the development of new Nanovision applications.

After a successful position at GEEO R&D centre (part of Schneider Electric), Philippe joined Teem Photonics at its foundation in 1999, where he became Engineering Senior Manager.

Philippe studied Optic and Optoelectronic at INPG and earned his doctoral degree in Integrated Optical Amplifiers from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (INPG) in 1998.


Fabienne GUENNOU joined Altatech in 2006 as Manufacturing and Services Director. Fabienne is responsible for the purchasing, quality, manufacturing and customer service operations.

Fabienne began her career at Applied Materials in 1996 where she held several positions from Field Service Engineer to Operations Manager, leading highly qualified teams.

Fabienne studied Materials Sciences at the University of Paris XI Orsay and graduated from FIUPSO in 1995.
