Mission

Based on its advanced knowledge and experience in high-tech semiconductor production systems, Altatech develops highly efficient, cost-effective technologies and equipment for new applications in emerging markets.

Altatech currently provides the following 3 product lines, enabling to characterize and create precise multi-dimensional conditions on all types of substrates:

  • AltaSight - complete, high-speed substrate inspection
  • AltaCVD - new materials deposition
  • AltaDrop - advanced nano particule patterning system

Altatech partners with main R&D centers to design and deliver nanotechnology equipment projects based on industry needs.

Historical milestones

2004 – Creation

  • Company is set up by semiconductors specialists with advanced experience in the industry
  • Invests strongly in R&D very early to develop disruptive technologies

2005 – First technological breakthrough

  • From R&D to first product line: AltaDrop, a system of inkjet printing
  • Sold to a major R&D center and a worldwide semiconductor manufacturer

2006/2007 – Acceleration in tool development

  • Reinforce internal structure and hire of key management employees
  • Launch of second product line: AltaSight, a system of inspection
  • Opening of German commercial subsidiary: Altatech GMBH

2008/2009 – Completion of product range and international expansion

  • Launch of 3rd product line: AltaCVD, a system of deposition
  • Presentation at SEMICON Europe 2008
  • Establishment of presence in Japan via a Distributor
  • Representation agreement in the US and in Taïwan
